Explosives

In addition to the wide variety of ranged and melee weaponry in Battle Drones: Red Rock Resistance, we have a selection of explosives in the game!

The first release includes one weapon and three grenade types: Rocket Launcher, Basic Grenade, Cluster Grenade and the Dynamite.

Rocket Launcher

The Rocket Launcher is one of our most powerful weapons. Rockets travel in a straight line and explode when they come into contact with any object or opponent. Rocket explosions have a broad range with significant AOE damage. This weapon allows you to move freely, the only disadvantage is that there are two rockets in the magazine, so watch out for a longer reload time.

Basic Grenade

Basic Grenade - Lvl 1

This grenade deals a lot of Area of Effect (AOE) damage within a short range.

Cluster Grenade - Lvl 2

As an upgrade of the basic grenade, the cluster grenade deals a similar amount of initial damage, but with some extra bonuses. During the explosion, the cluster grenade spawns four smaller grenades which detonate in a plus pattern. This gives it a larger explosion radius compared with the basic grenade.

Sticky Grenade

Sticky Grenade - Lvl 1

In the same way, this grenade deals a lot of Area of Effect (AOE) damage within a short range, with the added effect of sticking to objects. Throw it at a wall as you fly by or attach it to an enemy to deal guaranteed damage!

Shock Grenade - Lvl 2

As an upgrade of the sticky grenade, the shock grenade deals a similar amount of initial damage, but it also has some extra bonuses. After the explosion, the shock grenade creates a cloud of static, dealing repeated damage to those inside of it.

Dynamite

The Dynamite, when detonated, causes a great deal of damage to enemy drones. It sticks to objects and may come in handy for opening up different areas of the map. It has a limited throwing range so watch out for enemies! You’ll find that it’s not the cheapest of items, so be strategic about when and how you use it!

Dynamite explosives will pave the way for you in no time! And don’t worry — the explosion and falling rocks won’t hurt you, so you don’t have to run away.
